I’m not really afraid of needles, but the drilling is very hard for me. I have very sensitive teeth—even small cavities that don’t need numbing still feel extremely painful. It honestly feels like my whole head is going to break, and I start sweating in my hands and feet. Dr. Julie noticed how nervous I was and offered laughing gas. It was my first time trying it after 30 years of dental visits—and it worked amazingly well! I felt so calm, almost like I was at a spa XD. I truly believe the experience at the dentist matters. I don’t want to build up more fear every time I need treatment. I want to feel calm and comfortable going in.
